Instant Rivalry Wins Ontario Back Roads 2016 Talent Search

Ontario Does Have Great Talent

It has been such an amazing experience for our organization to put the 2016 Ontario Back Roads Country Talent Search together and we couldn’t have done it without you!

We are extremely impressed with all of the submissions that we received. These emerging Ontario artists obtained over ¼ million votes from around the world online.

We had a packed house at Hugh’s Room on Thursday, March 3, 2016 co-hosted by KT Timmermans from100. 7, The Island, Manitoulin's Country and Eryk Trickett from Country 89.1 in Welland. They did a phenomenal job keeping things running smoothly all night.

We are proud to announce Ontario’s Back Roads Country Talent Search winners, Instant Rivalry, from Prince Edward County. These siblings have a genuine heart warming quality. There was not a dry eye in the place following their performance that was dedicated to their inspiring grandmother. They have played many community events such as fairs, Canada Day festivals and the Olympic Torch Marathon. They have opened for bands such as Tanya Tucker, Corb Lund and many more. Growing up in the County, they agree that the breathtaking views of the Bay of Quinte is a huge inspiration to not only their music but their way of life.

Congratulation to our 4 finalists Anthony Tullo, Oakville, Dean Young, Fort Erie, Rich Cloke, Burlington, South Of 7, Belleville. Their performances were outstanding.
